Foundations of a Beauty Visionary, My Journey from Arts to Media
From a young age, I was captivated by the beauty and arts sector. With a solid foundation in journalism and arts from my studies at the Lebanese American University and Kingston University in London, I embarked on a professional path that started at LBC. There, I not only contributed my skills but also provided training. My career later took me to work with Roya TV and the Royal Film Commission in Amman, as well as various renowned production houses.
A Beautiful Transformation, From Makeup to Permanent Beauty Solutions
Although my career began in the arts industry, my passion for both art and beauty led me to explore a new path. After starting my family, I wanted a profession that blended creativity with lasting impact. I initially worked as a makeup artist, but I craved something more enduring. I became fascinated by the transformative power of beauty treatments that provide long-term results, allowing clients to feel confident and radiant every day.
Mastering Beauty, The Rise of DeeDee’s Beauty Lounge
I pursued further education in permanent makeup and beauty treatments, eventually earning a European certification in the field. With this expertise, I launched my career and opened my own salon, DeeDee’s Beauty Lounge. My dedication and passion have established me as a leading beauty expert, helping women enhance their natural beauty in a lasting and transformative way.
Challenges
Starting out in the beauty industry, I faced several challenges that tested my resolve and skill. One of the first hurdles was mastering the color wheel theory, a fundamental aspect often overlooked by many makeup artists. This expertise proved essential for delivering optimal results.
Prioritizing quality over quantity was another significant challenge. I focused on building a loyal client base rather than maximizing the number of clients. Initially, explaining the intricacies of my processes and justifying the pricing of my services was tough, but I honed my communication skills to articulate the value clearly.
Convincing people of the legitimacy and artistry of my work was also demanding, as many underestimated the effort and time required. Additionally, navigating gender biases in the industry, where men were sometimes perceived as more professional, was challenging. I strive to demonstrate that women possess a unique sensitivity and aptitude for beauty treatments.
Despite these challenges, my unwavering commitment to quality has led to exceptional results, and I proudly boast a record of no client complaints. These experiences have molded me into the dedicated professional I am today.

I deeply understand the complexities of pleasing and satisfying a woman’s beauty needs, sometimes acting almost like a psychologist to grasp their personal stories and experiences. This insight pushes me to excel in my work.
My vision extends beyond the present: I aim to establish an academy offering comprehensive certification programs in permanent makeup and beauty treatments. This initiative will ensure that graduates are equipped to work globally with recognized credentials.
I also plan to launch a YouTube channel to share tutorials, tips, and insights into the latest beauty trends and techniques, educating and inspiring aspiring beauty professionals.
Furthermore, I aim to develop my own line of color products. I am passionate about the transformative power of colors in beauty treatments and aspire to provide high-quality, vibrant options that enable professionals to achieve stunning results.
